Eat Wise and Exercise
Through the Mount Airy City Schools and Surry Arts Council partnership, the Piedmont Opera and the A.J. Fletcher Opera Institute of UNCSA visited Jones Intermediate to bring “Dr. Siggy’s Fantastic Plan – Eat Wise and Exercise” to the students.
Students joined Yum Yum, Despina and Figaro as they learned how to make healthy lifestyle choices with Dr. Siggy and his friend Brunhilde in this fun opera written for children! This opera was written for children, by UNCSA’s own Steven LaCosse!
