Educators receive $14,507 from Zach Smith Fund Grant

Mount Airy City Schools is excited to share that nine teachers have received grants from The Zach Smith Fund of The Winston-Salem Foundation. Educators received a total of $14,507 that will go toward professional development opportunities.

Curbside Meals

As we reach the end of this semester, we wanted to update families on our curbside meal service.

Spotlight on Jones Intermediate School

Jones history students are learning more about being a leader in and out of school, PBIS celebrations are in effect, as well as a program for lab students.

Two-hour delay 2-12-21

Mount Airy City Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Friday, February 12. K-8 students will need to adjust their drop off time by 2 hours. MAHS will open the buildings at 10:30 and begin school at 11. Should another call need to be made in the morning, that call will be made by 8.

2-hour delay 1-28-21

Good morning, Mount Airy City Schools. Due to potential black ice, we will operate on a 2 hour delay for today Thursday, January 28.

BHT, Jones, and MAMS please adjust your drop-off time by 2 hours.

MAHS starts at 11 and the buildings open at 10:30.
